9/8/09 update:  Fern is smart as a whip, maybe too smart for her own good sometimes!  She's muscular and extremely athletic for a dog her size.  She would be a perfect candidate for a sport such as agility.  She does well with other dogs when properly introduced but she can be a bit mouthy and pushy at times.  Because of this we would not recommend her going to a home with another very dominant dog as she likes to run the show!  Fern loves her toys, stuffies and the flirt pole and is a fun girl to have around!

Fern is a wonderful little staffy bull. She was rescued at the 11th hour from being sold to research. Many shelters in MI sell unwanted animals to people called Class B Dealers who then sell them for research animals.
Fern is now looking for a home where she will never be at risk like that again.
Fern is a SWEET, LOVING and WONDERFUL girl who gets along great with all other dogs.

All MMBR Dogs are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, checked and treated for both internal and external parasites, microchipped and treated for any and all medical conditions that we are aware of.
