7/15/09: We are sad to say that Ellie has a type of kidney failure that requires medicine twice a day and quarterly urine tests to check and monitor her condition. However, if you can see past her illness and see her for the wonderful companion she could be, your home would then be complete. Ellie is exceptional with people and loves them all. She can be tempermental around other dogs and for that reason we are recommending she be the only dog in her forever home so she can truly enjoy her golden years. The pictures above show that she loves to run in the backyard and she is still lively and active even in her older age. Ellie is a very sweet girl. She is also housebroken but her condition causes her to urinate more frequently. Do you have it in your heart to give this girl a forever home?
